F.A.V.A.S.

 

F.A.V.A.S. is a  non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation, study, teaching, enjoyment and continuing evolution of the Performing Arts in the Alberni Valley. 

 

Our goal is to promote the Performing Arts to the Youth of the Alberni Valley by providing awards, scholarships, bursaries, workshops, training and performance opportunities.

 

Following our incorporation in December of 2014, and thanks to a small loan, we were fortunate enough to sponsor a Contemporary Dance & Jazz Dance Workshop with well renowned guest Choreographers.  All Dancers in the Alberni Valley, both beginner and experienced, were invited to attend the workshop at no cost to participants. The workshop was a huge success and we look forward to providing even more opportunities to our Youth in the years to come, not limited to dance but in all genres of the Performing Arts.
